And The Winner Is…
Who hasn’t watched American Idol or The Voice or Project Runway or Top Design and secretly thought to themselves, I could do that. Well, me, for starters! But I have always thought I’d make a great judge (think more Nina Garcia and less Judge Judy — black robes do nothing for my figure).
So I reveled in the opportunity to join fellow judges Dee Murphy and Jeff Andrews (did you spot him on Keeping Up With the Kardashians a few weeks ago?) at the Thomas Lavin Showroom, along with the charming Thomas Lavin himself, to peruse the great Pinterest boards entered into the Runway To Room contest.
I even put on my judging cap (i.e. turban) for the bubbly-infused judge-fest. (I’ve been feeling quite turbanic lately.) With so many fabulous entires, who would take away the prize? After much deliberation, a winner was selected…
It wasn’t easy choosing just one winner, as there were so many beautifully designed boards, so we’d love to give honorary mentions to Annette Vartanian and Zandrea Penn for their brilliant boards as well. Annette’s board fused modern girly glamour with Mad Men masculinity, while Zandrea’s board utilized bold sunset hues to create a lively, statement-making room that I can’t wait to sip a martini in.
So you think you can decorate? Indeed you can!
Congrats and special thanks to Fred Baby for photographing the judging session. So you think you can photograph? Indeed you can!
