I landed in New York on Tuesday night for the whirlwind that is Fashion Week. Follow along on Instagram for all the insane fun (with a very special guest appearance you won’t want to miss — and that might make me faint — TIMMMMBER!).
In that vein, I’m sharing my Fashion Week Survival Kit — everything a girl needs to keep her engine roaring and her feet from revolting. Mind you, I’m writing this mere moments after writhing on the floor in pain as my toes cramped up and my eye twitched so much I thought I was having a stroke — or a bad reaction to Botox! — but learn from my mistakes, Golightlies, learn from my mistakes.
Here’s what every girl should have in her bag to survive Fashion Week:
1. Foldable flats for obvious reasons. 2. A flask bangle because sometimes a little hooch goes a long way. 3. A backup charger because you are nothing without your phone. 4. Water, water, water. Hydration is everything. 5. A pretty pouch to stash your drugs (Vitamin B, Aleve, Glitter). 6. A fab bag to tote all of the above + your heels once your dogs start barking. 7. A Fashion Week Bestie (or three) because it’s twice as fun with a partner in crime.
