One of Kaylee’s favorite things to do when she visits is to vote on my friend Sydne’s outfits. Sydne has a fun Staple Series in which she wears one item three ways and then you can vote for your favorite. Kaylee and I will lay in bed at night and she’ll ooh and aah over Sydne’s outfits and say things like, “Wow, they’re all so pretty, it’s hard to choose.” It’s the sweetest.
So I thought it might be fun to do the same, starting with my Fashion Week outfits.
Clearly this isn’t one item worn three ways, but I think it’s interesting to look back and notice patterns in your wardrobe that you may not have consciously been aware of before. For instance, I learned that I’m really drawn to black, white, and blue — and prints.
Do you notice any patterns in your wardrobe?
Do you have a favorite look?
Let me know in the comments!
p.s. I’m working on implementing a voting button because I think that’s half the fun. However, I wanted to note that sometimes when Kaylee doesn’t choose the “winning outfit” (i.e. the outfit that elicited the most votes), she gets bummed out. I have to remind her that it’s not a competition or a goal to have the same opinion as everyone else.
