Buongiorno from Roma! While I’m ODing on cacio e pepe and can barely button my pants, it only seems fitting to share the food photos from my Flamingo Fiesta pool party with L*Space in case you’d like to throw a fiesta of your own! Check out these flamingo fiesta pool party food ideas.
I wanted to keep appetizers simple and refreshing so opted for a fruit platter as a starter. To keep things fun and on-theme, I put my flamingo cookie cutter to good use and made flamingo-shaped watermelon (made with this flamingo cookie cutter).
Keeping these leggy guys company: watermelon skewers on pink flamingo party picks, pineapple, grapes and berries, plus a few vessels with mixed nuts, all styled beautifully by Hope. Dishes, glasses and tablecloth are CB2. Vases and pitchers are Oh Joy! for Target. Flower arrangements by Miss Kris.
We hired a taco man to make tacos at the party, which was both fun and helped ease the workload a ton. We had several meat and veggie options (butter lime shrimp, carne asada, flamingo…okay, pollo) with cheeky hand-lettered signs by Our Heiday. Flamingo glasses from The Dollar Store but you can get them online here.
Mustache sign holders via Etsy.
The goods for a flamingo fiesta feast.
For dessert, in lieu of a traditional cake, ‘lette made us this flamingo macaron tower. Insane right? They can make anything you want and are so easy and fun to work with (remember this macaron tower and this one too)?

Tip: If you’re going to have a big crowd and have the budget, having food catered is so helpful. Otherwise enlist friends to help (even The Barefoot Contessa has her friend Michael do the flowers!). I had both hired help and friends who generously pitched in (I can’t give enough thanks to Kristen, Fred Baby and Hope).
