Style Icon Project: Audrey Hepburn's Orange-Print Dress in Mexico | Kelly Golightly

I’ve always adored this picture of Audrey Hepburn in a floral frock in Funny Face. The print! The hat! So when I spotted this darling orange blossom dress by Brooke Wright Designs on my friend Liz — that evoked similar vibes —  I had to have it. While the shape is clearly different than Audrey’s Givenchy dress, I love how similar the print is, even if Audrey’s is floral…

And this one is fruity.

And I LOVE this easy breezy silhouette. Perfect for these sun-drenched days in Palm Springs.

Brooke Wright Designs is a new-to-me brand.

Or at least I thought it was.

Once we started corresponding, I realized that the towels we have in our orange guest bathroom that Meg Caswell designed are also Brooke Wright Designs!

Not only that, but this Barrington palm-print bag that I love?

The print is a collaboration with Brooke Wright Designs!

So, I was a Brooke Wright Designs fan without even realizing it.

You can find the orange blossom dress here.

It’s also available in a caftan, clutch, skirt, top, tunic, off-the-shoulder top and bag!

Following Audrey’s lead, I paired my printed frock with an oversized sunhat. I also added a straw bag, heart sunnies, pineapple earringsblush sandals and monogrammed necklace that says “Odee”.

What do you think? Are you feeling fruity and floral?
