I like to pack light and love an easy breezy dress, so I wore this SAM&LAVI printed dress a few times while up in San Francisco this past week (yes, it’s the same print as these pajama pants!). Sometimes it can be tricky wondering what to wear with a printed dress, but this one ended up being quite versatile.
Here’s where and how I wore it…
This dress accompanied me to the Harper’s Bazaar x Mulberry party with Helen, Mike and Marni (where I ran into not one but two people I know from LA — small world!) and to a visit to the Wanelo offices (both times I paired my dress with eggplant tights, suede boots and a leather jacket). I’ll be sure to share more from each of those events soon. Then on Sunday, I wore it again to visit my favorite store in all of San Francisco, as seen here with my comfiest heels, sans tights.
San Francisco is much colder than my thin-blood has become accustomed to, and apparently I wasn’t the only one who noticed. Although a fan of this faux leather jacket, Fred Baby surprised me when he said, “You don’t belong in a leather jacket.” “You mean style-wise,” I asked? “No, just weather-wise. You belong in the warm sun.” I couldn’t agree more. That said, I love the removable faux-fur collar on this Black Swan faux leather jacket, as it adds a girly-glam element and extra warmth — a win-win in my book.
