To be filed under: One More Reason to Raise Children in New York City

Andy Spade (a.k.a. Mr. Kate Spade, who just so happens to be David Spade’s brother) is always up to the coolest things and this may just take the cake. His cool new shop/gallery, Partners & Spade, on Great Jones Street in Manhattan is now open to the City’s smallest citizens. The preschool of sorts offers classes on filmmaking and printmaking taught by professional artists. The goal? To make art accessible to kids. How lovely is that?

Located within blocks of my old New York loft, it almost makes me wish I would have stayed put and had a baby just so I could attend classes there with my imaginary baby. Speaking of, isn’t Kate and Andy’s daughter Bea a doll?
