I had such a blast hosting Trina Turk’s Spring Style Out event at the beautiful LA store last night (designed by none other than Kelly Wearstler). Here’s a peek at the festivities and what I wore for a night of clinking glasses and shopping the amazing new spring collection.
Wearing: Trina Turk tank, palazzo pants, fringe long pendant necklace, ring // vintage bracelets // photos by Fred Baby.
How amazing are these printed palazzo pants? Truth be told it was hard deciding what to wear because I loved so many of the pieces in the new spring collection, but these pants won me over with their groovy poolside-in-Palm Springs breeziness and standout print. Plus, they’re SO comfortable. A simple black tank and a few jewels and I was party ready.
Wide-leg and palazzo pants are making a huge comeback, as evidenced in the above photos of multiple stylish partygoers wearing them, and at Rachel Zoe’s fall 2014 preview I attended this morning. (Tip: Prepare for leather palazzo pants. Yes, leather palazzo pants. Don’t be scared, we’ll navigate these murky fashion waters together. 😉
A huge thank you to everyone at Trina Turk and to all who came out last night to join in the fun. It was a joy to be surrounded by friends, old and new (some brand-spanking new, like sweet baby Avery May). Happy weekend!
