grammy best dressed; jada pinkett smith grammy best dressed

Did you see the GRAMMYs, my dears? If you missed the show and Lady Gaga’s egg-mobile entrance like I did (I was giddily en route to the desert), I’ve rounded up some of my favorite looks from the evening that I hope you’ll enjoy. I’ve chosen those who wowed in a good way, not those who looked like desperate cries for attention (you know who you are). Starting with the effortlessly cool Jada Pinkett Smith in Amanda Wakeley, who totally reminds me of  Kelly Wearstler here. The hair, the dress, the shoes, the bag, it’s all perfectly cool without trying too hard. You like?

Rihanna may have looked like my Christmas tree, but she stunned while doing it in Jean Paul Gaultier. Love the loose red locks, too. What did you think? And Jennifer Hudson literally took my breath away in her sleek Versace — and had me seriously pondering Weight Watchers, for maybe three seconds, until I spotted my half-eaten bag of M&Ms (desert food?) that begged to be finished off.  Can you believe how amazing she looks? I mean really.

Heidi Klum looked like a million shiny bucks (shocking for a supermodel, I know) in this golden Julien Macdonald gown. Statuesque, age-appropriate, glorious. Speaking of statuesque, petite Selena Gomez was simply perfect in J. Mendel, don’t you think?

Finally, I loved Julianne Hough’s artsy Malandrino gown. It fit her — and her personality — perfectly. How about you?
