Are you going to see the Aqualillies perform? If so, and you’re wondering what to wear, I have some outfit ideas… Hint: go retro!
On Friday night, we made our way over to The Beverly Hills Hotel to see the Aqualillies perform. The Aqualillies are a “water ballet entertainment company” made up of synchronized swimmers who wear the cutest retro swimsuits and swimcaps as they perform dance routines on land and in the water (i.e., everything I want to be when I grow up). So, I took their vintage vibe into account, as well as the iconic decor of The Beverly Hills Hotel, when deciding what to wear…
Here’s a peek at what I wore to see the Aqualillies…
Preppy pink and green and black-and-white stripes pretty much encapsulate the decor of The Beverly Hills Hotel. So I hopped into something equally as playful: a vintage yellow-and-white striped dress. It was also the perfect time to sport this cute yellow polka dot May 28th watch that I was sent.
I punched up my polka dots and stripes with flamingo pink wedges, a bow-adorned clutch and a vintage black-and-white bangle.
Here’s how you can get the look:
Dress: Vintage (similar here and here) \\ Watch: May 28th c/o \\ Shoes: Rosalie wedge from Sole Society \\ Bracelet: Vintage Judith Hendler that I got here (find a similar one here, here and here) \\ Bag: Myna bags (old but similar here, here and here)
