Are you familiar with La Vie Style House?

They started popping up on my radar a year or two ago and I instantly fell in love with them from afar (i.e. online). When Katie Kime came to Palm Springs to shoot her lookbook, she wore La Vie Style House and I got to see the magic of their vintage-inspired caftans up close and personal.

A few months later, my friend Teggy French wore this incredible palm leaf kimono jacquard dress. After gushing over it, La Vie was kind enough to send me one as a gift (very generous!) and it’s one of those pieces that makes you feel like the best version of yourself. Like, ahhh this is the life I was meant to live and this is who I was meant to be! Know what I mean?

I know fashion can seem fluffy sometimes, but it can be so powerful. If I wear something where I don’t feel like myself, I will not have a good day. Is that just me? I’m very sensitive to aesthetics. Or, as Charlotte York famously said, “Aesthetics are important to me.”

Suffice to say, these pieces are special. As such, they tend to sell out very quickly.

Wondering how La Vie Style House fits?

All La Vie Style House caftans and kimonos are one size fits many. I’m normally a size 2. I’m 5’4″ without heels, about 5’7″ with these gold Loeffler Randall mules I’m wearing above (which are the most comfortable heels I’ve ever worn btw). Hope that helps.

OUR WEEKEND PLANS

We’ll be heading back down to San Antonio to soak up baby snuggles with Chloe Bear and see my OG baby, Kaylee Bug.

Hopefully the sunshine we’ve had the past two days will continue and we can go on a walk together. Spring is right around the corner. Oh, and Daylight Savings starts (or ends?) late Saturday night, so we’ll have more light in the evenings. I can’t wait!
