Style Icon Project: Swanning in Palm Springs

Happy weekend, darlings! We’ve spent this week swanning around Palm Springs, keeping cool poolside, and imbibing inspiration. In fact, this trip has inspired a whole new project we’re dubbing the Style Icon Project.

We’ll be using our favorite classic style icons, photos, and movies — Audrey Hepburn, Jackie O, Love Story — for inspiration and recreating the looks here in fresh editorials, in hopes of inspiring all of you style icons out there.

And we’ll show you how to get the look, in case you’d like to add some classic, timeless, glamorous style to your repertoire.

First up, a shoot inspired by the shutterbug of chic, Slim Aarons.
