If there’s one item of clothing that excites me more than vintage dresses, it’s capes. Not only do capes feel polished and ladylike with a hint of throwback glamour, but they’re insanely comfy too.

Here’s how I wore my favorite cape for brunch with Christopher Kennedy at The Viceroy Palm Springs this chilly desert weekend.
