Good news: It’s now totally acceptable to wear pajama pants in public. Bad news: This still doesn’t mean that I will get out of bed before 11am. But that’s another story altogether.
Here’s how to wear pajama pants in public without getting committed & where I wore mine two nights in a row…
Domaine and MYHABIT hosted a lovely holiday kickoff dinner on Wednesday, with a very tony crowd, and I not only wanted to look appropriate, but be comfy too. Luckily, these pajama pants made that possible. Praise pajama pants.
In lieu of fuzzy socks, I opted for studded booties to keep the look more polished than pajama.
A cheeky statement tee topped with a structured blazer (this one’s from the boy’s department — another good trick if you’re on the petite side, as they tend to cost a lot less than in, say, the adult section) and you have a look that’s totally comfortable but polished too.
I went minimal on accessories with a statement ring (literally — this one says “Whatever”) and my new favorite arm candy — a watch wrap bracelet from La Mer.
Of course, the sun went down before we could get good outfit photos, so I wore the same exact outfit the next day for a date at my new favorite spot in Palm Springs. The only difference, this time I wore my hair up, instead of down. There’s no shame in my game.
WHAT I’M WEARING:
CELFIE tee // boys blazer (old but similar here & here) // La Mer customized watch c/o (love this one too & this one) // Sam & Lavi pants c/o (also here) // Studded booties c/o Sole Society (from last year but similar here & here & here) // Whatever ring (old) // Nila Anthony bag c/o
