Chic Office Makeover Moodboard | Kelly Golightly x One Room Challenge

Holy!! How are we already at Week 3 of the One Room Challenge? The HALF WAY POINT?!? Time to panic and freak out. See why below + our sources so far. Plus, HELP us find the perfect chairs…pretty please!

{See Week 1 + Week 2}

My Week 3 Update:

Confession: I pretty much haven’t made any real progress since last week. Okay, that’s not totally true or for lack of trying. We had this stunning mirror arrive from our friends over at West Elm and are SO giddy about this beauty.

Which means we now officially have TWO pieces of furniture! That should be enough for an entire room, right? 😉 See the first piece from SCOUT Home here.

Actually, we have several more amazing pieces in route — I think… I don’t have tracking numbers for them yet, so I’m biting my nails over here. Anyone else?

Seeing as we need to shoot the space in 2.5 weeks (eeeek!), I hope I can get that info soon. Universe, are you listening?! Please answer me, Universe!!!!

So today, I am going to share with you all of the exciting pieces we have slated to arrive, and those that already have.

And I’ll share what we still need. Gulp. Maybe you can help?!

Okay, here goes…

Pieces That Have Been Ordered But We Have No Idea When They’ll Arrive:
1. Drapes — Extra excited to get these Barn & Willow drapes in Cool Lavender!
2. Chairs — Literally ordering two as I type… That emerald hue, amiright?!
3. Rug — Thrilled for this Justina Blakeney x Loloi rug…it will tie the entire room together.
4. Lamp — Isn’t this Couture lamp such a chic lady?
5. Table — Love this classic, chic marble + gold table that will anchor the work space.

Pieces That Have Arrived:
6. Credenza — Our first piece from SCOUT is a BABE!
7. Mirror — Chic, chic, chic, can’t wait to see this pop against an inky blue wall.

We Also Have:
Vintage side table — Kristen found a great little side table at Roundtop.
Vintage picture frame — Kristen nabbed a large vintage frame in LA, which we’ll add art to…

Things We Still Need:
Desk Chairs — HELP!!! The item causing me to lose sleep. On the hunt for two great cane back chairs…we think. Have any suggestions? To go vintage or new? If new, we need to order them like yesterday.
Paint — Almost certain we’re doing an inky blue-black statement wall.
Curtain rods — Perhaps lucite?
Plants — This room calls for a jungalow corner, don’t you think?
Cork board — Luckily Kristen is a DIY queen so plans to make a large framed cork board to use as a real life Pinterest board.
Art — Kristen prefers to use her own art or vintage, so we’re still working out the details. Stay tuned!

Questions, Etc.
Cocktail table — We’re 99% sure we’ve decided not to do a coffee table, like you see in the rendering below. Worried it will be too cluttered. Thoughts?

Okay, that’s it for now… My big focus is tracking down tracking numbers to make sure all of the above are en route and to find two great table/desk chairs.

Wish me luck xo!
