Are you familiar with house dresses? It’s a term floating around a lot lately, but house dresses are essentially the dresses I live in – cute, comfy, floaty, airy dresses that are easy to wear – you just toss ‘em on and you’re all set. And the key is they are so comfy you wear them at home. Hence the term “house dress.” I live for a good house dress, so I’m excited to introduce you to a new-to-me brand, The Sleep Shirt. Check out the house dress so comfy you can sleep in it, plus 3 ways you can wear it below!

About The Sleep Shirt

The Sleep Shirt started as a pajama brand, so they have comfort down to a tee. But they’re expanding into a resort wear brand (my favorite niche…hello caftans!).

You can see + shop the whole collection at their online shop Into The Bedroom.

Three Ways To Wear The Sleep Shirt

I’m wearing the Fluo Striped Sleep Shirt, which you can wear three ways:

1.

As Pajamas

2.

As a Beach Cover-Up

3.

As a Dress

Actually, make that four ways: Wear it as a shirt by leaving the last few buttons unbuttoned & tying the ends or tucking it in to jeans. It will be cute to top with a cashmere sweater or cardigan in cooler weather too.

I wore it here as a dress, but (shhhh….) I have my bathing suit underneath.

It is the perfect Palm Springs dress and summer dress, because it’s so breathable and airy. Wear it to work from home, lounge by the pool, over you bathing suit at the beach…and feel like you’re in pajamas all day. You literally can sleep in it too.

Oh, and any expecting mamas or breastfeeding mamas out there, this is for you. It’s roomy and comfy, plus has easy buttons, which makes it breastfeeding-friendly.

Are you team house dress too?

I linked what I’m wearing above and below.
