It’s no secret I love a good soiree, so when Devon told me she wanted to host a Merry Glitzmas party to inspire others to host their own glitzy get-togethers this holiday season, I was in before she could say flamingos and glitter! How couldn’t I be when girly goodness and playful vintage glamour was on the agenda? Plus, we’d be sharing it all on Glitter Guide.
Devon created a gorgeous, charming and oh-so-fun party and Sydne, Mara, Catherine, Jana and I all came bearing glitz and a tip for how to create a festive holiday party without having a nervous breakdown. The key? Everyone should bring something to the table, both literally and figuratively.
See what I brought and watch a video of the party that includes party tips & lots o’ glitz!
I brought a beautiful macaron tower from ‘lette, a sweet shop just around the corner from me in Beverly Hills (but they deliver anywhere!). They are so much fun to work with and can create any tower you want (feathers, Swarovski crystals on the macarons — they are magic-makers!). A macaron tower is a great gift to bring to a party because it triples as a hostess gift, dessert and decor. Win-win-win! Plus, macarons are deelish.
Watch our Glitzmas party video above to get more tips for throwing a party of your own.
It was so much fun and these girls are the best! Thank you to Devon for hosting and be sure to check out more party pics and girly goodness on Glitter Guide.
If you’re thinking of hosting a Christmas party, having everyone chip in is the way to go!
